Natalie's 4 Month Appt + Misc.

Today was Natalie's 4 month Well-Baby appointment. She weighs 12 lb, 13 oz. and is 24.5 inches long. She's grown 3 inches in the last 2 months! This puts her at 40th percentile for weight, and 50th percentile for height. We have the green light to start her on baby cereals and she had a few bites of rice cereal for dinner. She's not too keen on it yet, but I'm in no hurry.

Andrew came with us and helped give Natalie her shots. Well, he didn't actually help, but he was very good about watching the drama unfold. I can't remember the last time I saw her face get so red! She was not happy to say the least, and she's been asleep ever since.

After the appointment, we went to Publix for a few groceries. I bought some fresh fish for the first time EVER! How sad is that??? I felt like I was doing something adventurous. Ha ha! We made pan fried Tilapia tonight with asparagus and whole grain italian bread. It sounds healthy overall, but we used a lot of butter. Oh yeah, and a lot of chocolate cake too.

I ran on the treadmill at the Y yesterday, and I'm paying for it today. I'm sore everywhere. I swear, I can do any other workout besides running. I'm still trying to get over my hatred of running, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Mike and Andrew played outside for a long time this evening. Andrew loves to play with his bubbles...which drives the dog batty. He also likes driving his electric work truck. It's a big yellow Caterpiller truck that he sits on. Our friend Jen gave it to us, and Andrew feels so big driving it all over the yard. I'll try to take a picture of it soon. So cute!
