Mike was at our friend Dave's house, watching UCW...or UFW...or UCFW??? I don't know and I don't care. It was some sort of guy's fight night though. Either way, I was at home with sleeping children and decided to channel surf.
I didn't want to watch. Really...I didn't. But like a bad traffic accident, it caught my eye and I just had to stare for a minute. Three episodes later, I was still watching. It must have been Dirty Jobs' Marathon night. I simply cannot believe that people have to do such awful things for jobs! One of the shows I saw was on taking food from the trash bags in the dump and sending it through a digesting machine to make combustible energy. Another was on cleaning up bird ka ka. Yet another was on cooking thrown away casino food into hog slop, then serving it to pigs. And those are just the shows I saw. I've seen episodes with the titles of "Sausage Maker", "Skull Cleaner", and (my personal favorite) "Owl Vomit Collector".
Need I say more?
Nasty, Nasty, Nasty, albeit horribly fascinating. I don't know how this man can keep his lunch down. He's pretty funny too. My shameful secret is out...I plan to watch again!

I've seen a couple episodes of that as well. It's definitely interesting to see jobs that you never thought of a person having!!
That is a favorite at our house too, well Rod is home it's on and I can't get him to turn it LOL....I loved the one where he went with an exterminator to get rids of the bees.....freaking hiralous!
