I needed to water the lawn. But I can't justify just dumping water on the lawn. It seems like a huge waste to me, and with no automatic sprinkling system...well, it's a pain. But, the kids were fighting and about to draw blood, gas is sky high, and there is no playground in walking distance. The solution was picking the patches of grass that never see shade, and setting up the Slip-n-Slide.

It's Cold! So Cold!
Andrew and Alie had never been on one before. It was funny to watch. They still had a bunch of fun, and we stayed outside for about 45 minutes. By then, Alie was reduced to tears of exhaustion, and Andrew was getting irritable (again) with his kid sister.
And Nathan? Well, he did what babies do best...
