Doping and Jelly Fish

Today has been quite the day. Alie's been on Omnicef (antibiotic) for six days now. Only four more to go. Right now I want to gouge my eyes out with a dull spoon. I had no clue that something beneficial to my sweet little angel could turn her into Linda Blair. Oh where did my daughter go???

Ok, the entire point of the title "Doping and Jelly Fish" was the reason I logged onto my blog. Really, it was a cute story, but no sooner had I typed in my username and passcode a huge GIGANTIC stormcloud entered the house and parked right over my daughter's head. Pity party ensues.

**side note** No sooner had I typed this did she pick herself up off the ground from a torrential tantrum...running off in a gale of giggles and chasing the dog. I think a call to the pediatrician is in order for tomorrow morning.

Prior to said tantrum, Alie looked at me and said a word that sounded eerily like "doping". I looked at her blankly and ask, "doping?" She nodded her little blond head excitedly in agreement. I repeat..."doping? Are you sure Alie?" More nods.

I asked our interpreter Andrew, "what does your sister want?" He said "doping, mom!"

My reply. "You guys aren't supposed to know about doping yet!"

Alie points. I finally figured out that she's been pointing to some jelly beans on the counter. I excitedly announced, "Oh...JELLY BEANS...I get it!"

Andrew said, "yeah mom, she wants jelly fish."

Aurgh!

After telling her "no", she decided she wanted to change her clothes. Perfectly normal sequence of events in my house. Miss-I-Can-Do-Anything simply can't do some things. Getting shirts off is one of them. My pantsless wonder threw herself on the ground with feet a kickin' and fists a poundin'.

Maybe the on-call doctor will be at our services today.

LOL about the cuteness of not knowing what they were saying but a big sorry that you had to deal with temper tantrums!

Sorry about the tantrums. I remember Abby getting mad at me when I could not understand her. They are little only once... at least they tell us that..LOL!
