Other News

Here is some news that we've received in the past couple of months from friends and family.

-Becca (niece) takes her driving test tomorrow. YIKES! She was our Jr. Bridesmaid at our wedding and she was NINE then. Oh vey!

-My brother Brian and his new wife Kimna are expecting. Yippeee. Brian's the CHP officer who moved to Pebble Beach not too long ago. They're due in September I think.

-My step-brother Sean and his girlfriend Lisa are expecting as well. (Not quite what they'd planned, but that's how it happens sometimes). They're due in October I think.

-Our friend Julie (Bill & Julie from CA) was diagnosed with breast cancer a month or two ago. They are pregnant with their first, so please pray for them. Breast cancer is hard enough, but to have that overshadow your first pregnancy is so sad. They are very optimistic and positive, and prognosis sounds good, but please pray just the same. We saw them last in April when they came to TN for a visit.

-Baby Addison (Rebecca's baby)...aka the Miracle Baby from several posts ago...she got her casts off today. She was born with clubbed feet because mommy's membranes ruptured at 21 weeks. The baby couldn't move very well, so she had clubbed feet as a result. Addison has gone through a three month series of leg casts, and an outpatient surgery on her achilles tendon. Now she'll be in brackets and bars. Not sure how long though. I recently started watching her on Mondays for 4-5 hours while Rebecca works. She is such a blessing and has touched the hearts of anyone who knows her story. Awwww.
