I'm Still Pregnant

Just in case there was any question, I'm still pregnant. (I got a text message from my sister in law, making sure I was still gestating.) Sounds like everyone's on pins and needles...sort of like us.

I woke up today feeling weird. Actually, most of last night and this morning, I felt "off". Crampy, not normal, etc. My hips hurt from lying in bed, but I can't see that I've dropped at all. I wasn't in pain...it wasn't labor pains, not even false labor, but something was going on. My neighbor told me that she'd gone through this shortly before delivering her daughter.

I've had Braxton Hicks contractions since month 4 or 5 with all three babies, so I'm used to that. I will say that, after that stuff happened, my BH were a lot longer, more regular, and more intense. Still no pain though. *sigh* Don't get me wrong, I can definitely wait a few more days...but still.

I started feeling normal again around noon. The kids went to nap then and from that point on, I accomplished the following:

-Showered (making sure to shave this time, ha ha!)
- Finished packing the kids and my bags. Still need to gather the toiletries, but that's pretty easy.
-Washed Nathan's clothes
-Folded TONS of laundry (my poor Couch of Shame won't know what to do)
-Squeaked in a nap
-Bought a super cute diaper bag after the kids woke up. (Picture to follow when I get around to it).
-Finalized Babysitter #3 for Delivery Day...whenever that should be.
-Bought a rotisserie chicken and some bread at Publix...slapped it on a plate and called it dinner.
-Painted Nathan's room! (With 'help' from Andrew of course. He loved feeling like a big kid, and I loved that I was finally able to claim victory over his Mom's Day Out program. Painting walls trumps finger painting any day!) I loooove the color, and will post pictures when we get it all together.

Alie is sleeping in Andrew's room for the first night, and she's being a champ about it. Honestly she was probably too tired to care. Tomorrow, we'll move the kids into Alie's old room (now Nathan's room) for naptime and bedtime so we can paint hills and volcanoes, etc in their room. On Sunday, my friend Heather is being AWESOME and helping me paint The Land Before Time dinosaurs on the wall. She's talented like that. I'm not. Hee hee. I'm even cutting church so we can get an earlier start on it, and have a few hours of kid-free time.

Things are falling together, and by the time I'm ready to crash, the baby will be here.
