Natalie

Our little girl is 7 months now. She'll be 8 months on September 6th. It seems like this has all happened in one short moment. I swear she's growing up faster than Andrew did, but I don't know how. I'm fortunate enough to be staying at home with her. I had to go back to work when Andrew was a baby, but his babyhood seemed to last longer.

I call her My Darling. She is so sweet and smiles at the drop of a hat. There is a bit of Irish temper in her though. Either that or she's bi-polar. At least, that's my explaination for her habit of laughing one second then screaming the next. She loves her daddy and adores Andrew. She is most definitely a Mama's girl though. When her little world turns upside down, it's me that she wants. It's flattering but oh so annoying at the same time.

As of two weeks ago Natalie mastered the skill of sitting, falling only once in a rare while. She wants to crawl something fierce, but can't quite figure it out. She lays on her tummy with her knees bent (thighs still parallel to the floor, feet sticking up in the air). She doesn't know that she has to get her knees UNDER her body. The result is a fury of kicks, hops, and loud protests. Somehow this is my fault??? Girls...

To my surprise, she also started to timidly wave. She's getting a little more confident with it, but has only been doing this a week or two.

And last but not least, Alie has sprouted two teeth in eight days! Her first one came in on August 16th, and the second one came in two days ago. She's starting to eat some baby food again. Not much, but enough for me to think it's not a lost cause after all.
