Here's the background:
Alie's had a cold. She was also hungry. I was trying to make lunch for the kids and "she was crying all over the place" as Andrew puts it. Knowing that I was busy, Andrew took matters into his own hands. He sat on Natalie's princess chair and had her sit on his lap. He started talking sweetly to her and telling her that "it was alright".

And to think these are the same kids who whack each other over the head with wooden trains and die cast cars.

Oh well, I enjoyed the moment while it happened.
