Not to be Outdone

Natalie, not willing to be outdone by her older brother's cuteness, insisted that I post some cute stuff about her. Well, it's not all cute-sy stuff, but I can definitely give you an update on her ways.

Alie has really come into her own as far as personality goes. Gone is the quiet, pensive little baby. Here to stay is her blossoming personality...complete with arm-raised "WoooHOOOO!"s when excited. Her verbiage is really cracking me up these days.

Last week she started something new. We showed her a magazine that had some puppy pictures in it. She looked at the picture, tilted her head to the side, and said, "AWWWWWWWW". Of course Mike and I fell to pieces over the cuteness of her proclamation, and she took note. She has been saying "AWWWWW" over anything cute...even at the mention of the word 'cute'.

She is also getting very confident with her vocabulary. She is always pointing at objects and attempting the names of them. She did 'door' today, but then blew me away with 'trash can'. She knows all about 'nack' (snack)...she screamed that from the backseat all the way home the other day. She also shouts out 'Mark!' when she sees our neighbor Mark.

And then there are the animal noises. I won't get started on that, but let me just say that I don't get very many quiet moments around here with a 4 year old and a 1 year old running around.

One last thing. She and Andrew argue over the correct terminology of Murfreesboro's finest. Whenever a police car is around, she immediately yells "Cop car!!!" Andrew says, "NO NATALIE, (insert *sigh* and eye roll), that's a police car." Little sisters must be hard to deal with.

I hear you on the little sisters comment, LOL!!! Mine do stuff like this a lot now. Love the cop vs police issue.
