If you are reading this, then you are aware that I recently made my blog private. It was not something I was planning to do...rather an impromptu act performed immediately after realizing that one of my e-mails to the church body contained the wrong signature. I inadvertently referred 275+ people to my blog site.
Now don't get me wrong. I don't show two different sides to people. I am blunt, I am a little rough around the edges, I am me. Most people gather that from the first conversation or two with me. Not everyone has had a chance to have the first or second conversation with me though. I'd hate to get accused of false advertising (i.e. referring people to a site of assumed uplifting and spiritual devotionals.) My posts run the gamut of uplifting and positive, to downright negative and cynical. I quickly thought about what my church body might read when they approached my site. My most recent post speaks of OB/GYNs and pot-smoking references. Not a good sign.
So, in a knee-jerk reaction, I made my blog private. I am doing what I can to invite people, but it's going to take a lot of work. Bear with me as I work through the invite process.
Lesson learned. I'm off to hide now.

oops. We all do things that don't seem like the best thing in hindsight. God says we should not judge, but as humans, we don't always do that. Glad you were able to invite me so that I can still see what's up with you!:)
