Sick Boy

Long story made not so long:

After the Christmas party (see previous post) on Friday, we noticed that Andrew wasn't doing too well. He was real lethargic, grumpy, and not hungry. I cut his hair later that evening and found that he was burning up. Temperature of 104. Yikes! It went down with Tylenol and Motrin, but kept spiking once the meds wore off. The on call doctor told us (Saturday) to not worry, but call them on Monday if he still had a fever. Naturally the fever was gone by then, but he still had a nasty nose and a yuck cough.

Today (Wednesday), I took him in to the doctor. Double ear infection, pretty advanced. He swears his ears don't hurt either. Go figure. The past 20 times I thought he had an ear infection, they always tell me it's just a cold and "here's your $15 sucker...thanks for visiting". The one time I was sure he didn't have one and he does. (I thought he had bronchitis). He's now on antibiotics, so hopefully the grumpiness and loss of appetite will go away soon.
