Ok, so it was on a treadmill, but I'm still proud!
Mike and I went to the Y this morning and put in some time on the treadmills. I finally figured out how to set up a 5k* program on the treadmill. (Technically challenged I am, hee hee). Normally I walk 1/2 the time and run the other 1/2. I call them sprints, but it's mainly me pooping out after running a quarter mile or so. Anyways, I'm not sure what posessed me to try the 5k. I started out with walking for a few minutes, then ran awhile. I walked again for about 2-3 minutes, but then ran the rest of it. It took me about 31 minutes and I'd say I ran about 20-25 minutes of that.
Mike says that I should be a runner because of my pace (when I actually DO run), and because of my flexibility. We'll see...meaning we'll see how I feel in the morning. I think he's just trying to con me into yet another addictive thing.
*5k is 3.11 miles for my fellow metric haters.
