Old

We're old now, and Dave Ramsey would hate us...but we now have a car payment for the first time in over 3 years. *sigh* I say we're old because we gave in and bought The Minivan. You know...the vehicle we were never under any circumstance going to buy? Ever? Yeah, that one. Off to my corner now to eat crow, or humble pie, or whatever it is that I'm supposed to eat.

On an ecstatic note...we got rid of the Volvo from hell. They gave us $200, which I thought was great. What more could you expect for a beater that had one headlight, one windshield wiper, torn seats, falling down roof liner, broken odometer, messed up a/c, and would shut off while driving down the road? (Only to name a few of our favorite maladies, ha ha.) Mike and I laughed each time something new went wrong with that car. It got so bad, that we didn't even bother to renew the tags on it, and they were due a month and a half ago. (Not the most rational thought, I realize, but whatever.)
